The Basic Taskbar Menu should be working. For the most part, most icons on your computer should copy to your menu & folders. Some programs will only create a shortcut to your desktop - then you can copy it to your menu/folders. Some can't be done & are restricted to the 'Windows Key' programs or the Taskbar.

You can highlight a folder or a file (like a picture or a spreadsheet), & right click & see if 'create shortcut' appears.

A product, person, or business, anything that has a web 'address' at the top of a browser can have a shortcut > go to a blank area of the desktop > right click > new > shortcut > & paste that address > then change the icon with properties if you wish.

Getting rid of the Trash Basket is more difficult - do a search or I will post on here later how to do it.
